❤️ Easter egg halves matching flashcards (free download)

Do you have a bunch of Easter eggs? Try this simple color matching activity. Download our Easter egg flashcards here and then have your little ones replicate the cards by picking out and matching the colors! This is also great practice for fine motor skills as they try to close the Easter eggs.

🧡 Easter egg potato stamping

Carefully cut out designs in potatoes (TRICK – use metal cookie cutters to easy stamp an outline into the potato) and then use them as stamps when painting. These make great little stampers for younger toddlers!


💛 Easter egg color matching

Another super simple color matching activity. All you need to do is draw some eggs onto paper in random order and have your toddlers match the order. We are using an egg carton to hold the eggs.


💚 Easter egg DIY cardboard puzzle

Make your own puzzle out of cardboard and paint! Cut out an outline and glue it onto another piece of cardboard to create the base. Then cut and paint the puzzle pieces as you’d like.


💙 Easter egg resist art painting

Easy painting for younger toddlers, simply use tape to create designs in cardstock eggs and then paint away! Once the paint is dried, you can peel back the tape to reveal your designs.


💜 Easter egg baking soda and vinegar painting

To get this cool effect, first paint the eggs with a baking soda and water paste. Then add drops of food coloring and vinegar and watch it fizzle!


❤️ Sensory rice play

An easy sensory play for younger toddlers is rice and easter eggs! They can scoop and pour and close the eggs to make little shakers. For easy clean up, set up on top of a large flat sheet to catch all the rice.


🧡 Coloring poster

Coloring is always a calming activity. Simply draw various pictures onto a large packing sheet and color it in!


💛 Easter egg shakers

To make these fun little shakers, fill easter eggs with rice or chickpeas and then put it between two spoons. Use tape to hold it together and then decorate with washi tape or stickers!


💚 Easter egg sensory pasta painting

This is a fun and different way to paint. Glue different pasta shapes onto cardboard and then paint away!


💙 Easter egg tracing cardboard

Draw and paint easter eggs and add some dotted lines for tracing. Cover the cardboard with packing tape to make it reusable and then practice tracing using a dry erase marker.


💜 Easter egg playdough decorating

Here’s another simple activity using playdough and loose parts. We cut shapes using easter cookie cutters from the dollar store and are using beads to decorate but you can use anything you have – pom poms, rocks, pasta, use your imagination!

❤️ Easter egg velcro stacking

Simply add velcro dots to the top and bottom of the easter eggs and you have made your own easter egg stacking game!


🧡 Easter egg letter hunt

Throw easter eggs into the water table or a tray filled with water for easy scooping fun! We also added bubbles to make this activity last even longer.
