Here’s a fun and simple playdough activity to get you in the fall mood.
All you need is playdough and some leaves! (You can also use other loose parts if you don’t have leaves – buttons, beads, paper leaves, pom poms – be creative!)
Our scented homemade playdough is from Wonder + Whimsical.
The acrylic leaves are from dollarama.
To make this activity, just roll out your playdough into thin logs and shape them into a tree. I used the end of a plastic knife to cut lines into the playdough to make it look more realistic and like a tree. I placed our acrylic leaves on the floor beside the tree and asked my daughter to help put the leaves back onto the tree. She really enjoyed this activity!

- Finger muscle strength
