Here’s a fun and easy color matching printable to strengthen those little fingers.
You’ll need a few materials:
- thin cardboard (I used an empty snack box)
- color matching sun printable (scroll down to download a free copy!)
- clothespins (I got a pack from the dollar store or you can buy online on amazon)
- scissors
- tape
First, cut out the sun (you can just cut a circle and cut off the edges) and cut out each of the color strips.
Then, glue the sun onto the thin cardboard to make it a little more durable. TIP – you can also print this out on thick cardstock paper and skip this step.
Finally, tape or glue the color strips onto your clothespins. You can also choose to color in the clothespins with markers in the same shades – both ways will work!
Now it is ready to play!
Let your little ones match the colors and attach the clothespins to the sun.
Why use clothespins?
They are such a great little tool for working on important skills! They help strengthen their fingers and hands and is also great for hand eye coordination. Plus, they are cheap and easy to get your hands on so they make the perfect addition to learning and playing.
