Here is a fun way to learn about the frog life cycle as well as matching numbers!

All you need for this activity are:

First, download your free copy of the printable – click here. I recommend printing out on cardstock to make the bees more sturdy for little fingers but use what you have!

Next, cut out the frogs and lilypads. I also taped these to a thin cardboard box to make them even sturdier.

Lay out the lilypads on a blue base for the pond. To add a sensory element to this, we used blue sensory rice but you can use anything blue – construction paper, playdough, water beads etc. Then have your little ones match the frogs to the correct lilypad!

For the frog life cycle printout, cut out the rectangle box as well as the two frog halves. Then tape or glue the two frogs onto the ends and fold along the dotted lines. You can then open and close the frog life cycle like an accordion book and teach your little ones how a little egg turns into a frog!
